Vinton Cruise Car Cruise The Vinton Cruise is a meeting place to showcase classic cars, street rods, hot rods, muscle cars and antique cars.

This cruise is one of the largest in Iowa, welcoming 300-400 participants and even more car enthusiasts to the town of Vinton, each year. Food, music, and entertainment on the courthouse lawn! We look forward to seeing you this year, September 23rd, 2023!

THANK YOU!

The 41st Annual Vinton Cruise was held Sunday, September 27th after being postponed twice due to weather. As expected, our vehicle count was down from 300–400 cruisers to 111 registered vehicles, but we were happy with the turnout and everyone had a great day!

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather for tomorrow, **Saturday, September 26**.

🌦️ **We will RE-EVALUATE the weather and make a final decision by 10:00 AM on September 26.**

If we need to postpone, the Vinton Cruise will be moved to:

For anyone wanting a cruise t-shirt before Saturday, September 26th:
T-shirts are no longer available at Theisen's
T-shirts are available at Mickey's Bar
They are currently in storage due to being moved from the prep area to the cruise site, but will probably be back in the prep area tomorrow 9-22. If you want a t-shirt before Saturday, but don't want to go to Mickey's Bar, please contact Terry Marter at 319-560-9624 to arrange for purchase and pick-up.

***UPDATE***
The Cruise Committee has decided to postpone the cruise to Saturday, September 26. The cruise will operate the exact same way, same registration time, same route. The vendors have been rescheduled.

We look forward to seeing everyone then!!!! We will continue to update the public as the week progresses! Keep an eye on our page!

We want to thank you all for the flexibility, our vendors, committee members, Benton County and the City of Vinton. Without each and all of you we wouldn't be able to make this possible.

Thank you for all the comments and suggestions. As of now, the committee is preparing for the cruise. We will be ready to accept participants at 12:00 p.m.

We understand that people from near and far attend our event and understand the decisions that have to be made given the circumstances.

We will continue to monitor the weather and will provide updates as necessary.

THANK YOU for all for the support you have shown the Cruise and the great city of Vinton over the last 40 odd years!!!!
