We had so much fun at the last day of the fair that we're only just now posting yesterday's photos! Thanks to everyone who joined us this year at the fair; we truly appreciate you all. We hope to see you next year for the fair's 120th year!

It’s the final day of the Vinland Fair!

Today’s schedule is full of fair favorites: pet parade, box turtle race, livestock judging, pedal tractor pull, lawn tractor pull, homemade ice cream and live music.

Pet parade and box turtle race registration starts at 10 a.m., with the parade and race at 11. Livestock judging begins at 1 p.m., pedal tractor pull is at 2:30, lawn tractor pull starts at 5, and homemade ice cream serving begins at 7:30.

Come spend Saturday at the fair.

Saturday schedule:

Marvel at the antique tractors that compete in Saturday's tractor pull and try out the homemade ice cream in the competition.

Day 2 is (mostly) in the books; music and the tractor pull still goes on! It was a day of kids' (and adults') races with bicycles, by foot, by sack and topping it off with softball throw and tug-o-war. Entries were on display in the barn, and the antique tractor pull chugged along.

It’s Friday at the Vinland Fair!

Today is a big day for kids, races and tractors.

Stock bicycle races start at 10 a.m., with foot races, sack races, tug of war and other field activities immediately after. The antique tractor pull starts at 4 p.m., and live music starts at 7:30.

Bring the bikes, bring the kids, come hungry and stay for the pull.

Friday schedule:

Friday is a day of races for the kids, who can participate in bicycle and foot races. Spend your night watching the thrilling lawnmower tractor pull.

What a great first day of the fair! We had a blast with old-time farm skills, Baldwin City Unified School District 348, Baldwin High School band, the Alferd Packer Memorial String Band, and more! We hope to see everyone out at the fairgrounds tomorrow.

The Vinland Fair starts today!

Today’s schedule includes scarecrow building, the antique quilt and apron show, old-time and modern farm skills at 2 p.m., the talent show at 6 p.m., poultry and rabbit shows, Baldwin High School band music and live music at 7:30.

Come out, grab some pie, walk through the exhibits and kick off fair weekend.

The old-time fair ramps up on Thursday with events such as corn shelling, the horseshoe toss, log sawing and more!
