Well that’s a wrap in 2023 for me! About to catch my last flight from west palm beach florida and what a time it was with the Double K Rodeo Productions Randolph Al, Hernan Velez and Mack Ginn. A hack of a event to end the year on! 2023 has been nothing short of a blessing! So many amazing events. Getting to make new friends traveling to new places. I wanna say thank you to everyone that trusted in me to have me at their events to bring the good times. Iv been think about the year and the last 4 years of this crazy journey iv been on and I’m so blessed I serve an amazing god who allows me to do this for a living. He has blessed me and keeps blessing me beyond my wildest dreams. 4 years ago if you would have asked me if I’d be doing what I’m doing now for a living and been the places iv been I’d laughed and said oh idk. It’s so crazy that in 2019 I did my first event for Brent Watring at his house (I thought I did the worst job in the history of clowning and would never do it again) but my dad Todd Pettigrew went with me and seen something I didn’t😂. Im very thankful he seen it. He’s my hero and always will be! He thought I did good enough to tell our good friends JoeyandLance McCollum about it. A few weeks later I got the call for all the outlaw 5/j rodeos. I said yes and after that phone call I thought to myself what did you just agree too I have nothing no acts, no mics, not a clue what I’m doing. But thankfully with a lot of help from dad, lance, Dalton Morris (who gave me my first big act the weight lifer) Dusty Myers, Brinson Harris, Dustin TheJester Jenkins, Keith Wooten (without hesitation signed for my ipra card and started hiring me as well), Isaiah Dunn& Ashley Dunn. The announcers Brandon McLagan, Chris Pyle, Dillon Gross and Isaiah Garn that were all very patient with me while I was trying to figure this job out. I know that first few years were rough but thank y’all for having the patience to deal with me. I’m very thankful for each and everyone of this people. They have helped me so much and still continue to me. I still learn something new every time I step in the arena! It’s so crazy to think about the last 4 years. The thousands of miles iv traveled. The memory’s iv made with friends new and old. I’m am a very blessed man and I thank god for every second of everyday for this life I live! To the dreamer I’ll tell you every time chase that wild dream that you can’t stop thinking about that lies the fire within you. God put it there for a reason he has a plan for your life just let him take charge and it will take you so many places! Every year my journey keeps going growing! Again thank you to everyone that trusted me with the entertainment part of your rodeo and bull ridings this year and over the last 4 years! Thank you to my family, friends and fan that have stood behind me in the good times and bad I’m thankful for it all! I can’t wait to see what 2024 has to bring its shaping up to be the best year yet! But now it’s time to to chase some whitetails in Ohio this week and make some more memories with great friends! I love y’all and Jesus does too! God is good!!!
