It just wouldn't be First City without our good buddy Cody Heckin' Williams! Cody's sets always have a collection of amazing musicians joining him on stage. He blends midwestern storytelling with folk, blues, and country influences.

How about last year when he had all the amazing musicians join him for "The First Church of God"?! It was one of the most special moments of the festival. Not to mention everything Cody does for us behind the scenes! We just love this dude! Don't miss his set on Friday at 8:30 pm!.

We are stoked to announce mEaTsAnDaL as our official Visual Artist this year! 🎉

If you haven’t witnessed Meatsandal in action, get ready for something raw and completely unfiltered. He specializes in high-octane, old-school analog liquid light shows. We are talking zero computers, zero presets, and absolutely no pre-recorded loops.

Instead, it is pure, live chemistry happening completely in the moment. All weekend long once the sun goes down, he will be manipulating mineral oils, vibrant dyes, and color turntables through custom-built "splodascopes." It all melts together into massive, heavy, psychedelic backdrops that slam right into the grit of the fast-picking strings.
