🎉 Here's What's Happening at KCARC!

There’s always something exciting happening at KCARC, and we’re happy to share a few recent highlights!
❤️ A Gift That Can Save Lives! We’re still celebrating the generous donation of not one, but TWO AEDs from the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation! These life-saving devices are a wonderful addition to our facilities, and we’re incredibly grateful for this meaningful gift.

🏭 Welcoming the Vincennes Fortnightly Club! We were excited to open our doors and welcome members of the Vincennes Fortnightly Club for a tour of our Coonrod Production Center! They explored our Specialty Wood Crating and Cut and Sew departments and discovered the incredible variety of products made right here at KCARC. We love sharing the amazing work our team does every day!

🌟 Celebrating Our Mission Champion! We’re still smiling over April Evans being named KCARC’s Mission Champion of the Month! Her dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to the people we serve make her recognition well deserved. Congratulations, April!

🐾 Pet Costume Contest Fun! KCARC was represented in the 3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest, and Brandi and Luna stole the show! We love seeing our KCARC family get involved in fun community events.

🧺 A Day Out for Day Programming! Our Day Programming team enjoyed getting out of town for a fun picnic! It was a great opportunity to spend time together, enjoy the outdoors, and make wonderful memories.

At KCARC, we’re proud to celebrate our people, our community, and the incredible things happening across our organization. ❤️

❤️ KCARC Receives Two Life-Saving AEDs Thanks to Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation!

KCARC is thrilled to be the recipient of not one, but TWO automated external defibrillators (AEDs) generously provided by the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation!

Brian Baker, Director of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, was on hand to present the AEDs to KCARC President Nash Dunn.
This exciting news came after Blair Schultz, KCARC Benefits Coordinator, dedicated her time and effort to researching the opportunity, completing applications, and participating in meetings to help secure this important equipment. Her hard work paid off, and KCARC is grateful to receive two AEDs to help promote the safety and well-being of our employees and everyone who visits our facilities.
The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation previously provided an AED to KCARC’s Civitan Children’s Center and recognized the need for additional life-saving equipment at KCARC’s Coonrod Production Center.
One AED will be located at the front of the Coonrod building, with the second placed inside the Manufacturing Plant, helping ensure these important resources are available where they are needed.
As one of Knox County’s largest employers, with nearly 350 employees, KCARC is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for our team members.
A HUGE thank-you to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation for this generous gift. Your support helps KCARC continue its commitment to caring for our people and strengthening our community. ❤️

KCARC was honored to be a sponsor of the Vincennes Animal Shelter’s 3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest! 🐾🎃 This fun-filled event at Gregg Park brought our community together to support the Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary and the Vincennes Animal Shelter. From adorable pet adoptions and creative costumes to a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and trunk or treating, there was something for everyone!

A huge shoutout to KCARC’s own Brandi Petelle and her pup Luna, who wowed the crowd and tied for first place—taking home both Most Creative and Fan Favorite! 🏆🐶
