Mr. Kenneth Ardoin is a respected businessman, devoted husband, father, and community leader whose life has been defined by faith, dedication, and a commitment to serving others. A lifelong resident of Ville Platte, Louisiana, Kenneth has spent decades making a positive impact through
his profession, church involvement, youth programs, and countless acts of service throughout the community. He has been married to his wife, Carlene Ardoin, for 42 years, and together they are the proud parents of three sons, Reicous, Cody, and Kendall Ardoin.
For 33 years, Kenneth faithfully served the Evangeline Parish School Board as a school bus driver. During that same 33-year period, he also owned and operated Ken’s Car Care, where he
built a reputation as a trusted businessman known for his honesty, hard work, and dedication to
serving the people of Evangeline Parish.
Kenneth’s passion for helping young people has been one of the greatest examples of his commitment to the community. He served as the Director of Evangeline Parish Youth Basketball
(EPYB) for more than 30 years, where he dedicated countless hours to providing opportunities for youth to learn teamwork and discipline. Today, Kenneth continues his commitment to youth development by serving as Co-Director of EPYB under the leadership of his son, Cody Ardoin, the current Director. Together, they continue to build upon the foundation Kenneth helped establish.

Kenneth’s heart for service extends beyond athletics and into his faith community. He is a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he serves as President of the Usher Board,
Vice President of the Male Delegates, and a member of the Eastern Seven District Association. He also serves as a driver for school and church field trips throughout the year. Kenneth also
serves on the Antioch Baptist Church Cooking Committee, where he assists with preparing and serving meals for church anniversaries, pastor anniversaries, funerals, and other special events.

As a local businessman, Kenneth understands the importance of giving back to the community that has supported him throughout the years. Through Ken’s Car Care, he continues to donate to local schools throughout Evangeline Parish and supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, reflecting his compassion for children, education, and families in need.
Kenneth’s outstanding commitment to service and leadership has been recognized throughout Evangeline Parish. In 2018, he was selected as the Evangeline Parish Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year, an honor recognizing his exceptional contributions as a businessman, mentor, volunteer, and community leader. This distinguished recognition reflects the impact of his many
years of dedication and his willingness to serve others.
