The Louisiana Cotton Festival is held the 6th weekend after Labor Day in October in the town of Ville Platte, La. The Louisiana Cotton Festival is a family fun event that invites you and your family to join us for our carnival, cook-off, pet show, music, pageant, and parade.

In an effort to share our culture, we are helping bring a style of Cajun Mardi Gras to Bastrop, Texas. And, YOU'RE INVITED!
Hope to see you at the Bastrop Bon Temps: First Annual Mardi Gras Celebration February 1 - February 3.

The goal of this project is to attract Bastrop visitors to our area to experience the real Cajun Mardi Gras!

Our second band announcement! Shotgun Lillie will be with us October 14th!

We will have bands on both Friday and Saturday night this year and we can’t wait for everyone to come and enjoy the live music we’re providing at the 69th Louisiana Cotton Festival!
