I can’t stress the importance of watching your children when you’re on our property. There have been so many things damaged because people are simply not watching their children. We love hosting events, we love hosting events for children, we love getting to share our property with others… but it is imperative to watch children. We have a 5 acre property but there is still so much that can happen when kids are left unattended to roam the grounds alone.

We posted last week about our nesting mama bird. We had a red stake in the ground so we would always know where her nest was while cutting grass, and to help others avoid disturbing the nest. Unfortunately over the weekend it appears that someone smashed all her eggs with the stake 😔

I can only assume a child who simply didn’t know any better. Please watch your children. Have respect for someone else’s property and please teach them to have love and respect for animals.
