UGLY BOOKS are now at Creative Cards and Crafts! Great to use as journals, junk journals or even just notebooks to keep track of your life! And if you are daring to have fun - we have some mystery books so you'll get a color surprise inside the wrap!

Creating with no boundaries is what defines this beauty. No limitations, no rules, no judgment, just imagination. It’s freedom of true expression and it’s something we all yearn for.

Uglybooks are designed and developed to break down the walls of expectation and to open up a world of free thought, similar to the way we all used to think when we were children. Back when we didn't know why *certain things* had to be *certain ways*. Back when you told people you were going to be a superhero when you grew up and it didn't feel ridiculous to say out loud.Uglybooks are determined to create limitless boundaries through size and color combinations so that every book feels like a welcoming challenge to try something new and to think freely.

Emily Moore Designs is a new stamp and die company that we found at Creativation. Be sure to stop in and check out her fantastic items. We even have some for Christmas and some really great giftcard holder dies which are good for any occasion. The June release just arrived yesterday! A couple of our teachers have already gotten their orders, so watch for some fun cards made with Emily Moore Designs coming soon!

Ann’s July 16 Card Class - 3 summer cards and 1 Christmas card

In this class, you will make four cards. The first card features a cute kitten dressed as Santa Claus wishing you a “Merry Christmas.” Next is a lovely group of daises and the message “Happy Birthday." The third card has a few cute bumble bees wishing you a “bee-utiful birthday.” The last card has a large colorful (the color is your choice) caterpillar and the message “crawling by to say hi.” To register for the class, call the store at 630-782-9999. Please bring your regular supplies, your favorite coloring medium, liquid glue, and tweezers. Payment is due at the time of registration. Hope you can make it.

SAVE THE DATES! Actually, beginning the week of July 6th, we'll be celebrating our annual Christmas in July! We'll have Christmas card classes, special $5 buys on cardstock, raffle prizes, a new TOTE BAG program, plus other surprises! Keep watching for further news and events!

An easy Katy Sue fence card to make. We have both white and kraft card bases in stock. You need a page from one of the Katy Sue Scene Stash packs or any scenery 12x12 cut down to size, plus a 3D flower and a couple of embellishments. Quick and easy for many occasions!

Our orders have been arriving at Creative Cards and Crafts from all of the fabulous vendors who were at Creativation this May. We have lots of surprises waiting for you and more are still on the way! New stamp companies, new marker/pens/pencil companies, new journaling companies, new paper companies - you name it and we'll have so many new types of products you won't know where to look first!
