The Music School at Jammin Java is unique for several reasons! As far as we know we are the only music school located in a busy club featuring nationally touring acts seven nights a week. In fact, Jammin Java was named one of the Top 100 Clubs in the world by Pollstar Magazine. This unique setting proves to be very inspirational for students and teachers. Every week you are bound to catch some wor
ld-class talent on the stage as well as local and regional bands in different phases of their careers. Recently, we've started to do Open Mic Showcases featuring current and former students at the club. This has proven to be a very cool and exciting alternative to the typical recital scenario. Our ownership is unique as well. We are family owned and operated and Elizabeth and Rebecca are both married to musicians. Elizabeth's brothers - Luke, Jonathan and Daniel - run Jammin Java. Elizabeth and Rebecca are also moms and have seven children between them so we also understand the business from the busy family's point of view! We have worked to make it as easy and fun and flexible for families to start taking lessons with us and to stay with us long term. All are very well-rounded musicians - both active performers and qualified, experienced teachers. We encourage our students and families to go see their teachers perform live when it's appropriate.
