ETAA: Closing for the day at 3:30 today. The Cox trucks are on Church street, and they now think closer to 5pm.

ETA: new Cox update says we won't have service until 4:30ish.

Fun in Retail: Saturday, 4/13 - The internet is out, the LED lights are flickering. I'd say "call first!" if you're headed this way, but the phones are out too. At least the big windows let in some light so I can knit? Things are allegedly being fixed.

Blaming the winds (which are only starting to get bad) for this one. Anchor down/hide your outdoor things today!

Monday evening - OPM just allowed unscheduled leave for tomorrow, so please call first if you're planning to visit the store Tuesday. We may have weather/an interesting commute?

ETA: The internet (and credit cards!) is back, hooray! Apparently six years is really *really* old in modem years, so I have a shiny new one. Everything works, *phew*!!

Same nonsense, different day - internet is still out, so we're still cash-only. The estimated repair time is 12:30pm, but it was 2:30pm yesterday, and that never happened.

Unlike yesterday, though, the phones are working so far, so please call us first to see if we can process credit card transactions if cash is not an option for you.

I really, really hope they fix this today!!

Friday, January 19, 2024 - CLOSED. FCPS closed the offices, so we're closed. (Also, I can't see my street, because snow). Today's classes are postponed- there will be a make-up class on Friday, Feb. 2.

Tuesday, January 16: FCPS decided to close for today last night, so we'll be closed today. If we happen to get in later in the day, I'll post that we got in. But as of midnight, we're closed.

We will be taking actual time off (without any family emergencies, thankfully) to start 2024. The shop will be closed for a week, January 2-6, and will reopen January 9 with regular hours.

FYI - limited hours this week and next! We're headed to the (hopefully not snowy) north, so we'll be closed for a week (or two part-weeks?).

Thursday through Thursday (Oct. 19-26) CLOSED
We'll be back to our regular schedule on Friday, October 27.

Any special orders taken today & tomorrow will be ordered on October 27.

Things are still very up in the air for us, so we aren't going back to a full schedule for a bit.

ETA: The store will be closed through March 18. If that date changes in either direction, I'll post.

Less fun update: The store will be closed for a bit (starting today, 2/24/23) while I deal with a family emergency. Hopefully not too long, but just don't know yet.

Current classes will be postponed until I'm back, and the April schedule will be delayed.
