With our continued effort to bring in new machines, It’s my pleasure to announce the addition of 2 new pinball machines! The titles will look familiar but these machines are unique. While you might recognize these titles, these aren't the standard versions you've seen before. During the mid-to-late 70s the manufactures were transitioning from Electro-Mechanical (EM) to Solid-State technology, limited runs of both games were produced as EMs. These are highly sought-after collector's items:
• Mata Hari: Only 170 EM versions produced (vs. 16,260 Solid-State).
• Black Jack: Only 120 EM versions produced (vs. 4,883 Solid-State).
In my 25+ years of collecting, I’ve only ever seen one EM version of Mata Hari and have never once come across an EM version of Black Jack! Both of these unicorns are fully set up and ready to play. A special “Thank You” goes out to Chad Perfetti for working with me on the purchase!
I’ve included pictures of both version so you can compare…. First thing you’ll likely notice is that the EM version of Black Jack is only a “2-Player Game”, the back-glass is way different (and better!) and all of the “Blue” colors in the Solid-State version are “Green” in the EM version…
