Hello, good morning beautiful humans. Eric here...
I feel obligated to make a post about the upcoming primary election. There is a very important bill on the ballot that would effect us all but especially ME, big time!! Amendment 5 to abolish state income tax. When I first heard about this I was like f**k ya!! That sounds great because who the f**k likes taxes. But because it sounds to good to be true and I don't trust politicians and why would they all the sudden want to help the working class, I decided to look into the bill deeper.
This bill is trickery, voting yes gives them the ability to raise other taxes without a vote. No say from WE THE PEOPLE!! Including sales tax and more importantly for me taxes on service. Yes, that means tattoos and any other services will be taxed.
looking into the big money behind this bill and how much they are spending on the vote Yes campaign its crazy!! Another big sign is them throwing this in on the primary election knowing not as many people vote in the primary. The wording for it all sound fantastic, stick it to the big man!! But look at who is funding this and you will see its not for the people its for the big man. They always want more please dont be fooled!
Anyway please go vote on this important issue. I would hate to up my tattoo prices in an already difficult time. Don't let them get away with this trickery. I will be voting NO on amendment 5.
Obviously you should always do your research and vote what feels right to you. But please do the research and follow the money. This one is a big deal so GO VOTE!!
