👑 Tonight’s Sky Highlight: Jupiter Steals the Show! ✨
Tonight, January 10, 2026, Jupiter reaches a special moment called opposition, when Earth lines up between the Sun and the giant planet. This alignment makes Jupiter closer, brighter, and larger in appearance than at any other time of the year.
🔭 How to find it: As soon as the Sun goes down, face east. You’ll notice an incredibly bright, steady light that doesn’t flicker like a star — that’s Jupiter, shining in the region of the Gemini constellation.
⏰ Best viewing time: Jupiter will remain visible all night, climbing high in the sky around midnight and slowly sinking toward the west by sunrise.
🌕 What you can see: Even without equipment, Jupiter is impossible to miss. Using binoculars or a small telescope, you can also spot its famous four moons — Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto — lined up like tiny points of light.
This is one of the best nights of the year to enjoy the solar system’s largest planet. Don’t miss it!
Clear skies and happy stargazing! 🔭🌌
