Finally finished this one! 🤎
I gave this coffee table a whole new farmhouse look with a distressed cream finish, rich dark wood top, and black hardware.
And it has a cool feature: it’s a lift-top coffee table! The top lifts up and pulls toward you, making it perfect for eating, working on a laptop, or just kicking back on the couch.
The drawer fronts are decorative (not functioning drawers).
Ready for its new home! 🏡🤎

Dang, she was nice before… but look what a little paint, wax, and elbow grease will do! 😍
I’m finally finished with this farmhouse coffee table, and what a transformation! 🤎 I love how the distressed cream base and dark wood top completely changed the look.

A little Saturday project at Dark Haven! 🎨☀️
Finally getting paint on the new porch and ramp they built for the escape room and haunt. Of course, I decided an EXTREMELY hot Texas day was the perfect time to tackle it. 🥵😂
Everything was going pretty well… until I stepped right in my freshly painted ramp. 🤦‍♀️🤣
Creating isn’t always pretty, but it’s usually entertaining! And apparently every artist needs a Minion supervisor. 🍌😂

Today’s little update… the hardware is on! 🤎
It’s amazing how something as simple as adding the hardware can pull the whole piece together. I’m loving the black against the creamy distressed finish and that dark top. After all that sanding and painting, this coffee table is finally getting close to the finish line! 😍
Just a few more finishing touches to go… then it’s reveal time! 👀✨

🎨 New project on the workbench!
This solid wood lift-top coffee table was FREE and has already been cleaned. Next up: sanding, staining the top, and giving the base a fresh new look.

I know... I said I wasn't bringing home any more furniture. 😂
Then this beauty showed up... FREE.
Sometimes you just can't leave a piece with this much potential behind. It has great bones, and I can already picture the transformation.
Now comes the fun part... cleaning it up, choosing the perfect color, and giving it a whole new life.
What do you see? Farmhouse? Moody? Vintage? Modern?
