Rain finally gave us a break and the signs are starting to go up!

We have been receiving some reports about inappropriate behavior on park grounds, and this kind of behavior is not safe for other attendees and will not be tolerated. Our signage installation was delayed due to the weather, but rules and regulations will be posted by Wednesday this week. In the meantime, here is a list of the rules.

USE PARK FACILITIES AT OWN RISK
CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
NO PETS ALLOWED ON PLAYGROUND OR SPLASH PAD
GLASS,ALCOHOL, SMOKING,PROFANITY, AND LOUD MUSIC ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED
PROPER FOOTWEAR & CLOTHING REQUIRED
NO ROUGH PLAY
NO FOOD, GUM, OR DRINKS ON PLAY EQUIPMENT
TENTS IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY
NO BIKES, SCOOTERS, OR ROLLER SKATES
PARK SUBJECT TO CLOSE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Polk Park is CLOSED today, May 23, 2026, due to inclement weather.
