Looking for a fun and educational way to spend part of your summer? Join us at the Texas Zoo's 2026 Summer Zoo Camp! Campers ages 5 - 13 will enjoy animal encounters, hands-on activities, games, crafts, and behind-the-scenes zoo adventures.

Week 1: July 13-17 Learn about mammals, reptiles and birds!
Week 2: July 20-24 Learn about what animals eat, even get to feed them!
Week 3: July 27-31 Be a zookeeper for a week!

Join us on June 6th as we celebrate one of North America's most iconic animals with discounted bear feedings during these specific times this saturday!!

Feeding Times for ages 13+:
• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Watch our black bears enjoy their favorite treats while learning more about these incredible animals and the important role they play in the wild.

Train Notice:
Due to extreme heat, our train operation schedule will be limited to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with services available only during 10-11 am and 2-3 pm or closure with rainy weather. ⛈️

We prioritize the safety and well-being of both our staff and customers! Given the heat index exceeds 90 degrees, precautions are being taken to ensure a safe experience
