The music doesn’t stop just because one chapter ends. ❤️

One of the hardest parts about ending our group was knowing there would be people still looking for a place to dance. While I’ll always be sad that our chapter came to an end, it genuinely makes me happy to see Ballet Folklórico continuing to grow in Victoria.

If you’ve been wanting to dance, or know someone who has, there’s a new folklórico group in town directed by Diane DeLeon (Cultura En Movimiento Folklorico)! They currently have open registration and are hosting a workshop next weekend.

Please stop by their page and send them a message for more information. I truly wish them all the best and hope our community continues to support the arts and keep the tradition of Ballet Folklórico alive for future generations.

Our friends at VISD will be hosting their annual show this Friday at the Victoria Fine Arts Center!

🕕 Doors open: 6:00 PM
🎭 Show starts: 7:00 PM

🎟 Tickets:
• $10 general admission
• Children 5 and under are free
• Purchase online using the QR code or buy at the door (CASH ONLY)

Events like this are more than just a night of entertainment…they’re a chance to support young performers, celebrate creativity, and help keep the performing arts and cultural traditions alive in our community. If you’re free Friday night, come out and show them some love!

Hi everyone! 👋

We’ve been getting a lot of messages asking about new student registration and booking performances. We want to let you know that our group is no longer in existence. However, we’ve decided to keep this page up so everyone can visit, enjoy the pictures, and stay connected to the community we love. 💃🪅

If you’re thinking about Cinco de Mayo, now is the time to reach out to local Mariachi and Folklórico groups. Don’t wait until the last minute and yes, be prepared to PAY for their talent (good music and dance doesn’t come free, folks! 😏)

And remember, support these amazing performers year-round, not just when you need them for a holiday. They work hard all year to bring music, dance, and culture to our community.

Thank you all for the love and support you’ve given us over the years. We’ll always be grateful for the memories we made together 💙

On behalf of Grupo Folklórico de Victoria, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us over these past few years and who joined us for our final production of El Colibrí. It has been an absolute honor to share the beauty, richness, and spirit of our Mexican culture with the Victoria community. Every dance was performed with love, pride, and deep respect for our heritage…and your presence made it all the more meaningful. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, for cheering us on, and for keeping our traditions alive.

To everyone who has supported us over the years—thank you. Your energy, applause, and unwavering love have meant the world to us. You’ve been part of this beautiful experience, and now, we ask you to be part of one last celebration.
