Victoria Public Library's "No Pressure Book Club" was a fun experience last night!

I think a total of 9 people showed up, and we all had a great discussion about books we read that had unreliable narrators.

I ended up writing down a few that I wanted to check our later.

I am looking forward to next months. I already know what book I plan on reading. It's one that has been sitting on my shelf for a long time, mocking me for not ever finishing it. It's 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' by Mark Haddon. I think it will fit next months theme.

So yeah.. If you love books, reading them and talking about them, then you should definitely come out to the next one!

They made me feel very welcomed as a new arrival too. Everyone was so friendly and receptive. 😁

Thank you to everyone that showed up to the Youth Open Mic!

We had some amazing performers! There are so many wonderfully talented kids and teens here in the Crossroads. It was an honor and a pleasure to give them a space to shine.

Don't fret if you missed this one, because we will back again the last Saturday of every month at Victoria Public Library!

ALSO!

We are making it ALL AGES now too!

Now everyone can come and perform/show off/have fun!

(PS: I'm still thinking about doing an adults only open mic too... but for now I would like to get this one going strong)
