As many of you know, I live at the 6th Realm Haus, and last night was, without a doubt, one of the most active nights I've experienced.

There are four doors upstairs, and all night long it sounded like they were opening and closing. I've been sleeping upstairs for the past two months, and ever since we got central air, I always leave my bedroom door open.

Sleep was almost impossible. It sounded like footsteps and movement throughout the upstairs, as if someone was constantly walking from room to room. But the part that got to me the most was the feeling that something kept coming up beside my bed. Several times during the night, I woke with the overwhelming sensation that someone was standing over me... just watching.

I've lived here long enough to know every creak and every sound this old house makes. Last night felt different.

Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. 👀
