I’ve talked before about slowing down and taking things one day at a time… but I’m realizing that slowing down isn’t something we learn once and then suddenly become good at.

Sometimes, it’s a constant reminder.

A reminder to pause.
To breathe.
To pray.
To make time for God.
To remember that not everything has to be done today.

I’ve been spending more time in my faith lately, and honestly, I think that’s exactly where I’m supposed to be right now. 🤍

The crafts will still be here. The ideas will still be here. And there will be plenty of candles and creations to come. 🕯️

But sometimes the most important thing we can create is a little more room for God in our lives.

So today, I’m reminding myself—and maybe someone else needs the reminder too—it’s okay to slow down. Again. And again. And again.

One day at a time. One prayer at a time. One creation at a time. 🤍

I've been a little quiet lately, but I'm still here! 🤍

Life had me slow down for a bit because I've been under the weather. I haven't been able to work on KNOP's Designs the way I had planned, but that's okay.

Sometimes we have to rest before we can keep moving forward.

I'm looking forward to getting back to creating when I'm feeling better and continuing this journey with you all. 🕯️

I've been a little MIA lately... but for a good reason! 🕯️🤍

I've been behind the scenes getting everything together, working on my space, gathering supplies, and preparing to finally start creating.

And today... I finally made my first candle! 🥹🕯️

This is just a small test candle, and I still have A LOT to learn, but seeing that little candle sitting there made me so excited. It's one thing to talk about an idea and another thing to actually see it start coming to life.

I'm going to be taking my time learning the process, testing, and figuring out what works before I start offering anything for sale.

One small step at a time. 🤍

The supplies are starting to come together!

Seeing everything laid out makes me even more excited to begin creating.

Each little piece is bringing this dream a step closer to reality.

There's something comforting about heading home.

Whether it's after a day away or a longer trip, home has a way of reminding us to slow down, breathe, and be thankful.

Today, I'm especially grateful for God's protection, His faithfulness, and the gift of spending time with family. Sometimes progress doesn't happen in the craft room; sometimes it looks like resting, reconnecting, and returning with a refreshed heart.

Now, I'm looking forward to getting back to my workspace this week and continuing the journey of KNOP's Designs, one small step at a time.

"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:8

Today, KNOP's Designs is taking a pause.

As much as I love creating, I've learned that rest, faith, and family deserve intentional time too.

Today is for worship, laughter, making memories, and being present with the people God has blessed me with.

Thank you for supporting a small business that believes family comes first.

Yesterday was a big day in our home. My sweet and sassy girl started 1st grade! 📚🍎

As I watched her walk into this new chapter, I couldn't help but thank God for His faithfulness through every season of life. Watching our children grow is one of life's greatest blessings.

My prayer for her this school year is that she grows not only in knowledge, but also wisdom, confidence, and faith. (and maybe a little more patience, too! 😅)

"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding." -Proverbs 3:5

To all the parents, teachers, and students starting a new school year, I'm praying it's filled with learning, growth, and many wonderful memories.
