Vestavia Dance Dance Studio and Ministry of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church Vestavia Dance offers instruction in a caring, compassionate, and creative environment.

We cultivate the love of dance and teach with the necessary discipline to create dancers who can beautifully showcase their God-given talents. Owner and Ballet instructor Kelly Avery and teachers Angel White, Anna Sims, Leanne Atkinson, Jamie Grimes, and Antonio Mincy create a unique studio dynamic by emphasizing the value of the art in its many forms. Allison Kiel will be graduating from Vestavia Hills High School. She has been a member of national honors society, as well as the dance, technical, science, and Spanish honor society. 🥇

Additionally, Allison has been a member of Mu Alpha Theta, served as the committee chair for youth leadership VHHS, was a member of help the hills, new student committee and the HOSA club.❤️💙

Bailey Waguespack will be graduating from Vestavia Hills High School. She has been a member of sisterhood club, youth leadership, Vestavia belles, literacy club, and rebel up club. ❤️💙

She is a member of the student leadership team at Vestavia Methodist, a member of VDPC and even teaches at Vestavia Dance. She has been dancing for 10 years.🤍

Meredith will be graduating from Vestavia Hills High School where she has been a member of Spanish National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta Nationals Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, National Honors Society for Dance, and National Honors Society. ❤️💙

Meredith also served as Administrative Vice President of the Student Government Association, a Vestavia Hills High School Ambassador, a member of Youth Leadership and New Student Committee, and involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club. 🤍

She has been a member of the Rebelette Dance Team for all four years and has been a dancer at Vestavia Dance for 14 years. 🩰

In the fall, Meredith will be attending Auburn University where she plans to major in Pre-Industrial Engineering! 🦅

Martha Kendrick will be graduating from Oak Mountain High School where she is a four year member of the national winning “Muses” show choir. 🎶

Martha has been dancing since the age of three in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, acro, pointe, and contemporary. 🩰

Martha is an active member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church where she participates in youth group volunteering, and events. 🤍

Sadie Chavers is graduating from Vestavia Hills High School, where she is a member of National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National Dance Honors Society, and has been awarded the VHHS Arts Achievement Seal.🥇

She was a member of the national winning JV and Varsity Rebelettes dance team. She was also involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Diamond Dolls, Youth Leadership, Literacy Club, Help the Hills, and New Student Committee. ❤️💙

Sadie has been dancing at Vestavia Dance for 10 years and joined VDPC in 6th grade. She has loved helping work and sub classes this past year. 🩰

Outside of school and dance, she is an active member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church and is an NDA staff member. ✨

She has also been involved in Literacy Club, Youth Leadership, Rebel Up club and many other volunteer opportunities around the school. ❤️💙

Charlotte has been dancing for 16 years and has been a member of Vestavia Dance
Performance Company for four years. Charlotte has since served as an assistant to Vestavia Dance Performance Company teachers and works as a transporter for Vestavia Dance and VHMC’s Day School. 🩵

Tana is a graduate of Vestavia Hills High School where she is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society for Dance Arts, Youth Leadership, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, New Student Committee, and the Student Section Committee, Rho Kappa, Help the Hills, Mu Alpha Theta, AP with WE service, Literacy Club, and National Technical Honor Society. Tana was awarded the Arts Achievement Seal as well. She was also a member of the national winning, JV Rebelettes and Varsity Rebelettes where she served as Co-Captain. ❤️💙

Outside of school, Tana is an active member at Mountain Brook Community Church where she is on the youth leadership team. She was also a Vestavia Belle. 👒

Tana has been a dancer at Vestavia Dance for 7 years where she was on Vestavia Dance Performance Company for 3 years. For the other 4 years she danced recreationally. Tana joined the Vestavia Dace Faculty this year where she taught a jazz/hiphop combo class as well as assisted with other classes. In the fall, Tana will be attending Auburn University where she plans to major in Finance. 🦅
