Claire Jordan Designs

I thought designing wrapping paper meant uploading a painting and pressing print.

That was adorable.

It actually involves building a seamless repeat, testing the scale, correcting colors, ordering samples and moving the same bird approximately 400 times until everything looks right.

Anyway—here is the Mockingbird Gift Wrap in real life, and she was worth it. 🤍

The gift wrap is here—and it is perfection. It looks even better in person, and the renderings were spot-on.

Also, making wrapping paper is A THING. Now I know. If you’re considering this journey, get with me first. Do not go into it blind, alone, and obviously confused—because why else would anyone willingly do this?

A little something for the guest of honor 🎂✨

By request, I’ve added several new wrapping paper designs. 🤍

I know I’ve been flooding your feed with wrapping paper in September 🫠, but the collection kept growing—and this Nutcracker may be my favorite yet.

The designs are now available individually or in two curated sets: Southern Heirloom and Christmas.

These styled previews show how each paper will look wrapped and tied. Every design began as an original painting, hand-painted by me.

Which is your favorite?
Mine are Nutcracker and Mockingbird. 🤍

Preordering has been extended for a limited time. See all the new additions here:

Sometimes the forgotten ones are my favorites.
She’s unfinished. I kind of love her that way. 🤍

A little look behind the paint.

Every piece begins here — pencil, paint, a very questionable stage somewhere in the middle, and eventually it turns into something that works. 🤍
