Acro Instructor Needed

Our growing dance studio is seeking an experienced Acrobatic Arts/Acro instructor to join our team for the upcoming season.
We are looking for a positive, reliable instructor who has experience teaching and safely spotting acrobatic skills in a dance setting. The ideal candidate should be confident working with recreational and competitive dancers and able to progress students through proper technique and skill development.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience teaching acro, gymnastics, or tumbling
• Strong knowledge of proper progressions and injury prevention
• Ability to safely spot and teach skills including:
Front and back walkovers
Back handsprings
Aerials
Front and back tucks
Other intermediate and advanced acrobatic skills
• Ability to manage a classroom environment while maintaining high safety standards
• Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic about working with children and teens
• Background checks and references required
Responsibilities:
• Teach weekly acro classes for various age and skill levels
• Provide hands-on spotting when appropriate and necessary
• Develop students' strength, flexibility, technique, and confidence
• Communicate effectively with studio staff regarding student progress and safety concerns
• Support a positive, encouraging, and team-oriented studio culture

Schedule: Part-time afternoon or evening hours (specific days to be discussed)

Congratulations to all our High Point Gold & Gold winners. Special shout out to Senior Team for your overall 1st place win, Abigail Ford & Caryolyn Lauffer for winning the Judge's Spotlight Award, and Mia Sanzo and Minis Dance Team for your Special Awards! Lots of Top 5 awards and a special shout out to Marissa & Kailey Beecher for your category high score & 1st place overall duo/trio win and Allie & Emilie Doty for your 1st place overall duo/trio win. We are so proud of all of our dancers!
