I just want to take a moment and thank each of you parents for your support and patience throughout this year! With it being our first year, with a lot of unknowns, it has been an adventure but a great one at that! We’ve enjoyed getting to know each of your students and like one of them said, “It’s like we’ve become a little family!”. This warms my heart. The sole purpose of VPAC has been to embrace and build on each student’s strengths and uniqueness(s), build each other up, stretch each one a little bit farther out of their comfort zone for the purpose of personal growth, and to have FUN while doing so! I think these things were all accomplished and thank those students that stuck with it ...even when it got tough, or stretched you a little farther than you may have liked! 😉 We have received great feedback from the community and school, and may even have upcoming opportunities to perform this summer! We shall see. Your performance was spot on Friday!! Bravo! 👏

Reminder: We will be having our cast party Sunday, April 29 at 5:00pm at Stray Dogs Pizza in Edmore (next to the Phenix). We hope each VPAC student will attend!

Tonight at 7pm!!! Don’t miss the one-time GRAND performance of “Once Upon a Time... Not!” by the Vestaburg Performing Arts Club.

Admission prices:
$5 per person/$20 per family

Stray Dogs Pizza will be available for purchase, as well as concessions and carnations! Come support the club’s first year of existence!

VPAC STUDENTS: Just a reminder, dress rehearsal tonight is from 3-6pm!!! Please make sure you have your entire costume and props! Also, please bring a pair of black leggings if you have some and a tank top.

Don’t miss the Vestaburg Performing Arts middle/high school’s grand performance of “Once Upon a Time... Not!” this Friday at 7:00pm! And BIG announcement, drum roll please....... We have paired with Stray Dog Pizza to bring pizza for purchase to the event as well! Proceeds will benefit the Vestaburg Performing Arts Club. A huge shout out to William & Tim for making this possible!

Admission is $5 per person, or $20 for a family of four or more. Children 3 and under are free! (Please share!)

We could use help with make-up and hair for the cast on Friday at 3. If interested please let us know!

Also, we need at least two volunteers to help run concessions at the performance Friday. Please contact us if willing!

Lastly, we need donations of individual snacks, candy and pop and water bottles to be sold at the performance to help support VPAC. Please bring in donations Wednesday and Thursday to practice!

There is no VPAC practice today due to cancelled school. Please come prepared for dress rehearsal/practice Wednesday and Thursday from 3-6 and Friday from 3-end of the performance. Dinner will be provided for the kids Friday.

Gratiot County Player's Summer Youth Workshop is Back Again!

Kate and Tom Glover are once again leading and directing our Summer Youth Workshop, taking place at the Strand Theater in Alma throughout the 2018 summer. The workshop is open to all children ages 8-18. Performance dates are: August 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12. As of yet, we do not have an informational meeting date or a rehearsal schedule, but do strongly encourage ANY interested individuals to contact the Glovers at 989-763-3564 for further information and for any questions. Contacting Tom and Kate will also ensure that you'll get dates, expectations, etc. as soon as they are set. We will share more information once our summer theater schedule is set!
