Ventoux’s Tourist c**t, Carpenter’s Call makes a strong debut. Missing out on the win by a whisker! A tough fast race for 2 yo going 6f on the dirt. It was exciting - big congrats to the connections!

Illusionista with Sophie Doyle up, ran a big race in her debut. The race was taken off the turf and on to the main track because of torrential downpours in the New Orleans area. She started slow in the back and then made her move and took the lead into the stretch!!! The sloppy track and the early move got the best of her and she was nipped at the wire finishing a strong second. She’s going to be a lot of fun! Thanks to It’s All About the Girls Racing for all the hard work.

This is Ventoux’s second foal. Magician is her sire and her barn name is Hula.

La Plata County Race track, Durango Colorado, circa early 1900's - 1950's (these pics). While it wasn't Keeneland... the track was highly utilized. Southern Sunday second career update. Ava - as we call her, is getting ready for the Retired Racehorse Project makeover this October 2-5 with Cathy Weischhoff. It’s at the KY Horse Park, so if you’re in the area, please come out and cheer for her and all the other Retired Racehorses!

Our Magician x Ventoux 2 year old filly preparing for the track. She was purchased by It’s All About the Girls racing and we have a small percentage. We will keep you posted when she is named so you can follow along!

An update on Sethary as he transitions into post track life. He is being started by Kathy and John Baar. I think he missed the rhythm of track life, but he had such a cool personality and he really enjoys his fields and friends- OTTBs and all the others.
