We are stunned and deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s extraordinary talent touched generations, but it is her lifelong love of books, children, and literacy that holds a special place in our hearts at Novel HeARTs. Through her Imagination Library, she helped put millions of books into the hands of children, including children right here in Ripley County, and inspired a love of reading around the world. Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that kindness, generosity, and a good book can change a life. Your legacy will live on in every child who opens a book because of you.

Rest well, Dolly. You will be deeply missed. ❤️
