walk-in’s are welcome between openings of the booked sessions, if you’re familiar with our signup system, same concept but we’re making adjustments… we want our clients to have fun and incorporate us as a part of their day, while enjoying the festival, opposed to waiting on a rough time estimate!

Hello, everyone! We hope you're having a beautiful day! I just wanted to come on here and run by shop hours and how things are changing, and some reminders.

Shop hours run differently now, but they're realtively close to the original hours. On Wednesday's (Walk-In Wednesday), Thursday's, and Friday's, we are guaranteed to be in here from 1pm-6/7pm, unless stated otherwise via post. On Tuesday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's, it is primarily by appointment or chance. Meaning, If you catch us here, you catch us here, but it's primarily for appointments. On Monday's, we are CLOSED.

In regards to piercings, we do not do piercings here at Trickster Coyote. Unfortunately, Google makes us list that we do. But, there are many lovely piercing shops in Lexington!

And finally, I have been having trouble the last couple years getting the Apple Maps information updated correctly. They have fought me every step of the way. The actual phone number for the shop is: 502-360-6338

But, those are the updates I wanted to give! Come on in sometime, let's tattoo something cool

We're often asked the best products for tattoo healing, so we're going to throw y'all some of our favorites!

Aveeno Lotion!
A nice classic. The oatmeal in this lotion is excellent for healing, it's moisturizing, but light weight, and won't damage the tattoo.

Hustle Butter!
A nice formula that melts into the skin. Packed full of awesome ingredients to promote healing, and feels similar to coconut oil.

After Inked!
Similar in consistency to Aveeno Lotion, but also a lot like Hustle Butter where it is packed full of ingredients that help promote healing.

What do we NOT recommend?

Aquaphor!
Not because it doesn't work, but because sadly, a lot of people overdo it. You literally need LESS than a pea sized amount for most tattoos, rubbed in well. Aquaphor can be a great healing tool if you know how to use it, but more often than not, people are slathering it on, causing tattoos to heal badly, destroying hours of hard work. It's better safe than sorry to just avoid it. UNLESS, this is something you know how to use properly in your tattoo healing.

Vaseline!
Super heavy, and doesn't allow the tattoo to breathe, preventing it from healing.

Neosporin!
It is actually very common to develop allergies to this medication with repeated use. It can also suffocate the tattoo, draw out ink, and again-- just ruin the tattoo entirely.

Hi, friends! Just your yearly reminder: once your aftercare is done, and the tattoo is healed-- that doesn't mean the care stops there! :)
Sunscreen is important, doesn't matter who you are. Applying sunscreen to your tattoos is the best way to ensure longevity and healthy aging in tattoos.

If you're outside, especially in the pool, cake it on and hydrate! :)☀️
Also, a reminder, Walk-In Wednesday is tomorrow from 1pm-7pm!
