Oak Grove Theater

Oak Grove Theater Oak Grove is a community theater group that performs an annual five play summer season. Thank you for your support. Each show has a seven consecutive night run.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization relying almost entirely on season ticket purchases and a fantastic, all volunteer, army of folks. Oak Grove shows are performed at night, out-of-doors, at beautiful Oak Grove just outside of Verona, Virginia. Please feel free to come picnic at the Grove before the sun sets and the play begins. https://www.oakgrovetheater.org/

The season begins in late May

and ends in late August. Oak Grove’s productions open on a Thursday night. All performances begin at 8:45pm sharp. https://www.oakgrovetheater.org/shows

Oak Grove Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit supported entirely by season subscriptions and is an entirely volunteer organization. https://www.oakgrovetheater.org/company

One of our most favorite Grovers passed away on Tuesday. Tom Cabe was a gentleman among gentleman. He was a leader among leaders. He gave one of the best hugs around. He will be missed more than any words can say.

The Grove is more than a stage. It is a place to relax, reconnect, and savor the best parts of summer. Season Tickets for all five shows are now on sale. Pack a picnic, bring your tailgate setup, and have five evenings of theater magic under the stars.

Over 50 roles are up for grabs!
Auditions for Oak Grove Theater’s 2026 Summer Season are happening March 21 & 22, 2–5 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian in Staunton.

We’re seeking actors, singers, dancers, comedians, and even a politician or two for a season built on laughter, redemption, and drama.
