The Indian River County Fairgrounds & Expo Center can accommodate a variety of indoor and outdoor events. (Please note that IRC Staff cannot comment on posts.

Please direct message or call us at 772-226-1780.) The Indian River County Fairgrounds is located on 58th Avenue approximately a half mile South of CR 510, between CR 510 and SR 60/20th Street. The Fairgrounds consists of a Ag Paviliontotal of 139 acres and three primary facilities. The Ag Pavilion, which has 28,875 sq feet under roof with clay floor and lighted for nighttime events. The Expo Pavi

lion has 20,000 sq feet with concrete floor and is also lighted. The Expo Exhibition Center is an enclosed air conditioned, 20,000 sq feet facility that is available for a wide range of events. It has office space, a serving area and restrooms. With 17,000 sq feet of open floor space it is ideal for wedding receptions, dances, trade shows and static displays. These facilities are available on a first come basis and require a minimum 25% deposit to secure a reservation.

Designed for boys and girls ages 4–16, this league is a fun, safe, and non-contact environment where players can build football skills while developing confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendships along the way.

People often see the fun side of Parks & Recreation, and while creating those experiences is incredibly rewarding, there’s a lot of work that goes into making them possible.

What it actually looks like:�

Long days in the Florida sun ☀️, coordinating leagues and programs, planning events, navigating logistics, leading educational tours with a deep knowledge of our local landscape and wildlife, and even making sure projects protect species like the gopher tortoise. 🐢

The reality is, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make recreation look effortless. Every park, facility, service, program, event, and league takes a team of dedicated people working together to make it happen.

And while we may not always get to participate in the fun, we get something pretty special in return: we get to create it for our community. We get to provide green spaces where families can make memories, affordable leagues that deliver a top-notch experience, educational tours that help people discover something new about the place they call home, safe and welcoming beaches, clean parks and facilities, and programs and events that bring people together.

This Parks & Recreation Month, we’re celebrating more than the incredible places and programs that make Indian River County special. We’re celebrating the people behind the scenes who make it all possible. 💚

The Indian River County Youth Coed Flag Football League is back this fall, giving boys and girls ages 4–16 the chance to learn the game, stay active, and have fun in a safe, non-contact environment.

From first-time players to experienced athletes, participants will develop football fundamentals, build confidence, make new friends, and learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the season.

It's Never Too Late for 250! 🇺🇸

This Fourth of July, Indian River County was proud to take part in the Vero Beach 4th of July Parade, celebrating 250 years of American independence alongside the community we are honored to serve.

A special round of applause goes to our incredible Indian River County Facilities Team, whose creativity and craftsmanship brought our eye-catching sandcastle float to life. Their hard work didn't stop at the parade—the very same float was transformed into the centerpiece of our Summer Splash Beach Pop-Up Tour, spreading Parks & Recreation Month fun across our beautiful beaches the following week.

From celebrating our nation's history to creating unforgettable experiences for our residents, we're proud to call Indian River County home. It's moments like these that remind us what community is all about—working together, celebrating together, and making memories that last long after the parade ends.
