"I didn't speak any English when I first started at IMGC, so I relied on someone to translate. One day early on, my boss stopped us and encouraged me to try on my own. I remember thinking, maybe I can get through this moment, but what about next time, or worse, what if I have to do this over the phone? Still, I took a breath and gave it a try. It wasn't perfect, but something shifted in me. I learned that opportunity starts the moment you believe you can do more than you think, especially when “Someone believes in you first.”

This is what flow looks like at IMG Citrus. Our forklifts may be doing the dancing, but it takes an entire team to create the rhythm.

In one coordinated push, on this particular day our IMG Citrus team handled 37 inbound containers and 11 outbound orders—moving 62,687 cartons across 948 pallets.

Behind every movement was expert planning and collaboration across sales, shipping and logistics. Combined with our strategic access to PortMiami, it’s how we keep citrus moving efficiently and reliably throughout the Southeast all summer long.

Our Florida citrus orchards are at the peak of the growing season. Grapefruit, Valencia Juice Oranges, and Orri Mandarins are enjoying the Florida sun and daily afternoon showers, building the juiciness and flavor for which Florida is recognized.

June is here, and the summer rains are running behind schedule. Over the years, we’ve learned to use cowpea as a cover crop because it adapts well to both dry and wet seasons, making it one of the best summer cover crops for returning nitrogen to the soil and supporting long-term soil health and sustainability. Judging by the growth in our ruby red grapefruit, they seem to be loving it too!

During bloom, groves become active ecosystems filled with bees and other pollinators helping support stronger fruit production and healthier trees.

From bees to butterflies, flies, wasps, and beetles, these tiny workers play an important role in the season ahead. Great citrus isn’t just about what happens at harvest; it’s shaped by thousands of small decisions, and a lot of quiet work happening throughout the grove. 🐝

Recently our team visited our partner growers. Their journey began in southern Chile and after 5 days, 9,000 miles, 13 partner visits, 3 flights, 2 rental cars, and 1 bullet train, ended in Peru. The most valuable conversations often happen in the groves, over shared meals, and while getting to know the people behind the fruit.
