In our quest to just be something different to look forward to, we've been discussing rules for the Jam and asking for ideas from the music community, particularly the musicians. NO JAM is perfect. & running a good one is not an easy task. Everyone deserves an opportunity to play. Everyone. The word "favoritism" gets used far too often by the folks that aren't taking up the responsibility of providing a worthy playing opportunity. This makes the Jam require Rules that are subject to change.

1. A)First Come First Serve. The sign up sheet will be put out at 1:00pm sharp.
Not before. We'll be occupied setting things up until it starts and not allowing for early sign ups ensures no excuses of unfairness.
B) This is NOT to discourage you from coming early. By all means support the Rowdy Rooster & buy a drink or lunch and chill until the sign up sheet drops.

2. A) We are supplying our own personal backline that has a few options to satisfy most any style. There's no need for additional amp setups or pedal boards.
Bring your instrument. Your snare.
We will not allow for tone adjustment without a conversation.
B) . In order to get a professional mix direct to livestream, all of the backline will be mic'd and or direct input making it impossible to switch equipment out without creating a disruption.
On hand will be :
4 different guitar amplifiers ready to go. Blues to metal, we've got you covered.
Need a little lead boost, delay, Phaser, whatever...... treat our gear like its your own and its there for you to use.
A Bass Rig.
A Drumset.
4 vocal mics & inputs for Acoustic and or Keyboards.

We ask that for keyboard players : make arrangements with us ahead of time the week prior to the gig. We'd love to have you but that requires some planning.

**** We'll be updating as we go & bring a printed copy to the Jams. ******

Welcome to all!
The Rowdy Rooster Bar & Restaurant asked us to help create "A Unique & Community Driven "OPEN JAM" on Sunday Afternoons which felt like a perfect way to cap off the weekend.
In order to make this a bit extra special, we wanted to marry the needs and wants we hear from musicians into someting more than just a JAM, and give the Rowdy Rooster a jam that's bit different.

We've got the technology. We're going to use it. We are currently testing a multi 4k camera livestream with sound direct from the mixing board mixed with audience microphones so both musicians and fans can instantly share high quality video for their promotional use.
It's 2026, the single most effective tool for promotion is GREAT VIDEO.

We're providing a full backline with everything mic'ed up into the board.

EVERYONE is welcome, every skillset, every age.
Sign ups will be first come first serve.
drummers, bring the essentials.
amps will be provided.
we currently do not have a keyboard setup.

edited video of performances can be made available the following week.
