Come see your favorite Treasure Coast Plein Air Artists this weekend at the gallery in Waldo's Secret Art & Antique Barn. Artist's opening Reception is Friday, Dec 12th from 3pm to 5pm. Art Show and Antique Sale continues on Saturday from 10am to 3pm and Sunday from 10am to 1pm.

Greetings Pleinair Painters, we are starting up the season with a visit to one of our favorite locations! This Thursday, we will be painting at the Osprey Acres Stormwater Park and Preserve at 925 Fifth St SW, Vero Beach, starting at 9am. This park is very large, but the best views are past the canal and into the back area of the park. Park your car and walk through the park gate and follow around the canal till you reach a fork in the road. Then turn left and that will take you to the lake where most of us will probably end up painting. In this area, there is a huge variety of scenes from oak shaded pathways to grassy plains to palms and ponds with lily pads. There are also many Osprey! We will be packing up for lunch at noon or slightly before...and meeting at the Twisted Lime restaurant in Vero Beach which is close by on US-1. Hope to see you all there. (NOTE: The weather forecast has a chance of rain, so play it by ear. I don't think we will see rain until afternoon.)

Let's Join the Sebastian Plein Air Painters for their Fall Plein Air Kick off: Saturday, October 18th! Come out and paint with us – no experience necessary. Lot’s of great things at this site with shelter area. Mikey is the colorful mascot – a fully restored 1920’s Ford Model TT. And of course lunch together after we paint! Check out the Sept Art & Antique Barn Sale THIS WEEKEND at Waldo's Sexton's Original Homestead, "Waldo's Secret Garden" at 5000 12th Street In Vero Beach. You'll find four of the Treasure Coast Plein Air artists there this month! Meet the artists at the opening reception from 3pm to 5pm on Friday, Sept 5th and the sale continues Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 3pm. There are so many treasures that we've opened up another room! Chilled wine & beer available while it lasts!

Today we painted at Jones Pier in Vero. This is the restored Jones residence on the Indian River. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area. Beautiful conservation area and the original Jones residence has been restored. It was a hot day to paint, but really beautiful with dark blue skies and puffy white clouds.

Paint Out At: Jones Pier, 7770 Jungle Trail, Vero Beach
Lunch: Beach Bites, 1840 Wabasso Beach Rd, Vero Beach

This is a historic restoration site that has a great riverfront setting and a newly restored building on the opposite side of the Jungle Trail. Whether you paint in the preserve area or on the pier, I suggest bringing a shade umbrella if you have one. The pier is wide and will accommodate sitting and walking past painters, but starting at about 10am, you will be in the sun.

Lunch: we will break at a little before noon to meet at Beach Bites. You can get there by following the jungle trail to Wabasso Beach Rd, turning right and following it to the ocean. There are outside tables there and there should be a breeze because of it being ocean front. Hope to see you all tomorrow!

PLEINAIR PAINT OUT AT MCKEE--SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH. The Treasure Coast Plein Air Painters will be participating.
Mark your calendars for a blooming extravaganza as McKee Botanical Garden proudly presents its 20th Annual Waterlily Celebration on Saturday, June 14, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This much-anticipated event will showcase more than 80 varieties of stunning waterlilies, including McKee’s renowned collection of 48 varieties certified as Collections of Excellence by the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society—a distinction held by only eight gardens worldwide. Plein air painters are invited to set up in the garden and paint from 8:30am to 5pm on the 14th. Admission fee is $20, or you can buy a membership for $60 for a year. Hope to see you out there.
