Throw Down this Saturday…schedule! First come first sign up…at 3pm.
3:00 p.m. — when perfectly reasonable adults will gather to make pottery.
Want to compete? It’s ridiculously easy. Show up a little early, put your name on the board, and prepare for pottery glory.
No qualifications.
No entry exam….well maybe.
No background check. I see your eyebrows rising with relief.
You don’t even have to know what “vitreous” means…well maybe.
Just bring your willingness to throw some clay, embarrass yourself in public, and possibly win ACTUAL PRIZES ( that’s what we are calling them anyway).

Don’t want to compete? COME ANYWAY!
Bring a lawn chair, claim your spot, and cheer for your favorite potter as they desperately try to convince pounds of wet dirt to become something recognizable.

Whether you're looking for a quiet, mindful escape or a fun night out with friends, our wheel throwing and hand-building classes welcome every skill level — from total beginners to seasoned potters.

🌿 Christmas in July is coming to The Blue Lotus Pottery!
There's something a little magical about finding handmade pottery in the middle of summer — mugs that fit just right in your hands, bowls made one at a time, pieces shaped slowly and with intention right here in the studio.
On Saturday, July 25, from Noon to 5 p.m., I'm opening the studio for our very first Christmas in July sale. You'll find my own work alongside beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces made by our students — so there's truly something for everyone, whether you're treating yourself or getting a head start on holiday gifting.

If you've been saying, "I've always wanted to try pottery," — this is your enrollment window.

This is a 6-week beginner wheel-throwing course. You don't need any experience. You don't need to be artistic or creative. You just need to show up.

Here's what I hear from students at the end of every session: "I didn't realize how much I needed this."

We meet one evening a week from 6 to 9, starting the week of June 2nd.

You leave with finished pieces you made yourself.
