Got off to a hot start tonight in Pecos at the Sul Ross College Rodeo. Kyler Goad was 5.9 with his partner to take the lead and Carter Hitt and Tipton Jones were 7.5 for second . Dawson Tullis and his Trace Phelps were 8.0 to be winning third in the long round . Dane Hirsche was 10.3 to be winning third in the steer wrestling and Ashley Meier was winning third as Thursday concluded in the barrel racing .Great start for the Chaps tonight.
