It is always the quiet details that carry the work Moving from a digital asset into a physical stereolithograph 3D print, every surface, transition, and finish moment has to be carefully planned and carried through with intention.

For 'Infinity Play', an 8’H x 10’ L, that attention to detail continued through printing, assembly, surface prep, primer, and final on-site completion. With the project’s needs, coordination, final site access, install location, and other real-world constraints shaping the approach, the work had to come together with both precision and flexibility.

The finished work is 'Infinity Play' (2025) by FriendsWithYou, bringing one of the collective’s iconic characters into the built environment at an entirely new scale.

Built as both sculpture and public resource, Jonathan Bickart’s ‘Tanya’s Gift' at the LAJH transforms a towering stack of books into a space for connection, curiosity, and community.

Perched on top of the work, a young reader reflects Bickart’s relationship with literature while reinforcing the sculpture’s larger purpose: making reading more accessible through a lending library built directly into the piece.

Designed to be interactive, the work moves beyond observation, turning public art into something shared and constantly evolving.

A patina begins with fire, but it settles through chemistry. Each reaction moves across the bronze to create the kind of surface history that time usually writes on its own.

Mass, balance, pressure, precision.
These aren’t parts anymore. At a certain scale, everything becomes choreography.
Some sculptures don’t get built, they get engineered into precision. A process refined at TBN.

At our workshop, automotive finishing is an art in itself. We use a multi-layer process that involves quality primers, base coats, and clear coats. It does more than just boost appearance; it protects an artwork against the elements.

Whether it's an indoor or outdoor sculpture, each project is one-of-a-kind. That means we give it a special finish tailored just for it, ensuring it shines for years to come.

From intricate designs to bold colors and even exciting effects like pearlescent and metallic finishes, we strive to find the right fit for every project.

'You Exist, Therefore, I Am. 2025’ by Jiab Pachakul began at UAP’s Rock Tavern foundry, where PMMA prints established the foundation for bronze casting.

From there, the work moved into our Los Angeles studio for assembly, refinement, and finishing. Each component was carefully chased and polished before being brought together with a high-gloss automotive coating system. It was then topped off with a final candy tint that added depth, clarity, and a luminous presence that shifts with light.

A Saturday visit to Monuments at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
Curated by Hamza Walker, Kara Walker, and Bennett Simpson, the exhibition draws from decommissioned monuments and places them in dialogue with contemporary works, focusing on revealing histories that aren’t fixed, but still actively unfolding in the present.

Actress and dancer Debbie Allen has left an unforgettable mark on the entertainment world. Her legacy began with her iconic role in “Fame,” and not long after, she took on the roles of director and choreographer in a range of electrifying productions, from Broadway shows to hit TV specials, all while amplifying the voices of Black artists in the industry.

Beyond her on- and off-screen magic, Allen also founded the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, a vibrant space where young dancers can flourish.

Sculptor Richard Becker designed a bust for Debbie Allen as iconic as she is. Working through the wax pull, casting, and patina, we helped Becker and the Television Academy bring Allen’s tribute to the Hall of Fame.

Not every idea we help bring to life starts with an artist’s sketch. Some begin with a legacy.

Robert L. Johnson changed the world of American media. When he launched Black Entertainment Television in 1980, it was a shift in who gets seen, heard, and represented. What started as a two-hour weekly broadcast grew into a cultural force.

We were happy to help honor his impact with a bronze bust. Sculpted by Richard Becker and commissioned by the Television Academy, this work marked Johnson’s induction into the Hall of Fame. It carries the weight of a career that opened doors across industries from media to sports to global investment.

Our team shaped the clay sculpture and completed the entire process, including the wax pull, wax review with the artist, casting, and patina application, ensuring every detail was captured for Johnson’s tribute.
