BIG NEWS -- it was announced TODAY that Jay Stratton's memoir "Out of the Shadows" will be published by HarperCollins on October 13, 2026. In the book, Jay breaks his silence to reveal everything he legally can about his investigations of UAP and non-human intelligent life on behalf of the U.S. Government and the profound impact his work had on him and his family. "We are at a turning point in human history and I am proud to play a role in opening the public's eyes to the truth and bringing about long overdue disclosure" said Jay.
For more than 16 years, Jay worked as a senior U.S. government official investigating UAP and the possibility of non-human intelligence. While at the Defense Intelligence Agency, he learned about UAP activity near nuclear weapons sites, which led him to help establish the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program—the first official U.S. investigation into UAP since Project Blue Book ended in 1969.
Working within the intelligence community, he concluded there had been a long-standing effort to conceal information about non-human intelligence from the public and even from Congress and presidents. He later led the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, the first government-wide effort to study UAP, pushing the issue into official national security focus.
