Re-Mastered Goodwin's "In The Canoe" (Original is sold, "Artist Proofs" and giclee prints are available.)
This painting was done on canvas using Alcohol Inks and Acrylic Inks. It is basically my rendition of Philips Goodwin's "In The Canoe" The only noticeable changes I made beyond brighter colors, were the details in the big rock, the water, the canoe, the Moutain Lion's face, and most noticeably in adding new clouds. Normally I try to remain exactly to the original, in my reproductions. However, I hated the "yellow/green clouds" in Goodwin's original so I painted new ones. Also, I didn't care for the cartoon-like face on his cougar so I added detail to the face. I hope you like it, but to all you purists, SORRY, but I couldn't help myself here!
