A standing ovation to Road Adventures by Mark Wahlberg!

Have you seen this incredible luxury motorhome? This wasn’t just an RV, it was a fully equipped mobile hospitality suite that served as the official Entertainment Dressing Room for our performers during the 60th Annual Festival of the Fish!

From air conditioning and comfortable seating to a private space for artists to relax and prepare before taking the stage, this amazing coach made our entertainers feel like VIPs.

Be sure to check out Disco Inferno’s page! Before taking the stage last Friday, they shared a fun little behind-the-scenes video featuring the Entertainment Dressing Room.

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce is incredibly grateful to Road Adventures by Mark Wahlberg for their generosity and support. Sponsors like this help us create a first-class experience for our entertainers and make the Festival of the Fish even more memorable.

Thank you for helping us roll out the red carpet!

Please join the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce in congratulating our 2026 Festival of the Fish Miss Vermilion Queen, Summer Ellis!

Summer is 16 years old and a senior at Vermilion High School. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in education or business, with dreams of one day becoming a teacher or a CEO.

When she’s not in school, Summer enjoys painting, acting, volunteering in our community, and spending time with family and friends.

As our 2026 Festival of the Fish Queen, Summer is proud to represent Vermilion and looks forward to encouraging kindness, community involvement, and hometown pride wherever she goes.

Congratulations, Summer! We know you’ll represent Vermilion with grace, enthusiasm, and a smile all year long. ❤️👑

Sixty years. Think about that for a moment.

For one weekend each June, Vermilion comes together to celebrate what makes our community so special…friends, family, neighbors, visitors, businesses, volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, vendors, public safety personnel, and countless people working behind the scenes to create something memorable.

As we reflect on the 60th Annual Festival of the Fish, our hearts are full of gratitude.

Thank you to our sponsors whose generosity helps make this event possible year after year. Thank you to our volunteers and committee members who dedicate countless hours before, during, and after the festival. Thank you to our city departments, safety forces, vendors, entertainers, and community partners who help keep everything running smoothly. And thank you to everyone who attended, supported local businesses, enjoyed the festivities, and created memories with us this weekend.

From fireworks over Lake Erie and the Lighted Boat Parade, to the parade, sandcastle contest, Crazy Craft Regatta, live entertainment, family activities, and all the traditions that make Festival of the Fish uniquely Vermilion…this celebration belongs to all of you.

The 60th Anniversary Festival of the Fish was a tremendous success because of the incredible people who call Vermilion home and those who continue to support our community year after year.

From the Festival of the Fish Committee and the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce, thank you for helping us celebrate six decades of tradition, hometown pride, and community spirit.

Here’s to the next 60 years. ❤️

As the Vermilion Chamber and Festival of the Fish Committee sort through the thousands of photos from this past weekend, one thing keeps standing out, the City of Vermilion Police Department seemed to be everywhere.

At the fireworks. On the water. During the Lighted Boat Parade. Escorting our Festival Royalty. Along the parade route. Throughout downtown. Every time we turned around, they were there.

But it wasn’t just us who noticed.

Throughout the weekend, we heard so many compliments from residents, visitors, vendors, and festival-goers about the Vermilion Police Department. People noticed their visibility, their professionalism, their kindness, and the way they interacted with the community.

In a hometown like Vermilion, that kind of presence matters. It helps people feel safe. It helps events run smoothly. And it allows everyone to enjoy all the fun that Festival of the Fish has to offer.

This was Chief Holmes first Festival of the Fish as Chief, and he and his team did an outstanding job. On behalf of the Vermilion Chamber and Festival of the Fish Committee, thank you to Chief Holmes and the entire Vermilion Police Department for your partnership, dedication, and commitment to our community.

Your presence was felt all weekend long, and we truly appreciate everything you did to help make the 60th Annual Festival of the Fish such a success.
