Lost, but never forgotten. 🙌
This memorial sleeve was created for my client and now good friend, Roger, in memory of his son.
Roger wanted to honor his son by recreating the tattoos he had and carrying those pieces of his story with him. There’s something incredibly powerful about taking the things that meant so much to someone you love and finding a way to keep them close.
I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child, and I have so much respect for Roger for the strength it has taken to carry that loss while continuing to move forward.
Over the course of creating this sleeve, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Roger, and what started as a tattoo project turned into a genuine friendship. I’m grateful for the trust he placed in me to be a small part of something so meaningful.
Roger, I hope we get to see you on the Jiu-Jitsu mats soon, buddy. Until then, stay strong, keep moving forward, and cherish the time you have with the people you love.
