Today was our last day of operation. It’s been a wild ride and we are so grateful for all our patrons! To all the friends we’ve made over the years, our amazing employees and everyone that came in and had fun over the last 21 years, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This page will be kept up so that people can share memories and photos of their time at the Carousel. We will also post updates on if we find a buyer for the carousel and where it ends up.

Thank you all for 21 years of memories. We’ll miss you all!

This is your last chance to come ride the carousel in the harbor. After 20+ years of being family family run, we have lost our lease. Thank you to everyone that has come in and supported us through the years. So many friends made, so many memories made for lots of people. We’ll miss you all!

The Village Carousel & Arcade will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, and then it'll be closed for good.

Our official last day of operation will be April 10th, 2022. So come enjoy your spring break and get one last ride on the carousel! Thank you to all our customers through all the years for your patronage. We are really going to miss you all!

Throwing this out there as we have yet to find a buyer for the carousel and our time in the harbor is coming close to an end. Is there any interest out there for people to buy the animals individually? There are 35 available and they range in price from $5k to $7k a piece. Don’t really want to have to go this route but if there is enough interest and we can find a home for all of the animals, we will do it!

With the impending closure of the business, we would love to find a buyer for the actual carousel. It would be amazing if we could find a buyer to keep it here in the greater Ventura area for future generations to enjoy. It is with great sadness that we announce that the Ventura Village Carousel will be closing its doors for good on April 30th. After many years of trying to secure a new lease in the harbor, searching outside the harbor for a new space and not being able to secure either, the Ventura Port District voted to have a new tenant move into our space.

We would like to thank all our patrons over the past few decades for their business. We love you all and are sad to see the end of an era in the Ventura Harbor.

Please come in and see us before we are gone, share your stories of the Carousel and have some fun!

We plan to stay open as long as we can, but at some point we will need time to clear everything out of the space. It's heart breaking to have to close our business but this has become our only option at this time. If you have a VIP Carousel membership, please come in and use it up! If you have tickets you've been saving, come in and spend them! If you just want one more ride on the carousel before it's gone, we're here for you!

Thank you again to all of you for your support, we are forever grateful and will miss all of you!

Ventura Village Carousel will be closed today due to staffing issues and leaks in our building from the rain. Sorry for the inconvenience, we plan on being open again tomorrow Christmas eve from 11-4 and closed Christmas day. Thank you everyone for your patronage!

We are gearing up to reopen! After over a year and half we look forward to seeing all your smiling faces again! As soon as we get enough people rehired we will be open. Hoping to be able to open this Friday pending finding a few more employees. If you know someone that wants to come work for us, please have them apply!! Stay tuned for the official opening date!!

We're looking for part-time employees to come work at the Carousel! Must be available on weekends and holidays. Duties include snack bar sales, operating the carousel and helping people at the redemption counter.
