Announcing a new Dance class this November!!! Contemporary Modern!
NY / Bay Area Dance Professor Anne-Rene' Petrarca.

Anne-René is a dance artist, choreographer, and somatic educator with decades of experience in contemporary dance, choreography, and movement research. Holding an MFA in Dance, she has taught at universities and professional training programs across the country, including The Juilliard School and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Her interdisciplinary practice encompasses contemporary dance, the Alexander Technique, yoga, and improvisation. Her work is guided by an ongoing inquiry into the relationship between technique, perception, imagination, and the body's capacity for nuanced, expressive movement. As a certified Alexander Technique teacher and Vinyasa yoga instructor, she brings a deep understanding of embodied awareness to her teaching, exploring how greater ease, coordination, and sensory awareness can enrich both technical practice and creative expression. Her choreography reflects an enduring curiosity about movement as a medium for artistic exploration, discovery, and human connection.
