Back from a great week in San Antonio, Texas and IAMPETH 2024, a week long Calligraphy Conference with the best of the best.
Feeling invigorated after a full week of amazing classes I'm ready to get back to work in my art studio.
I'm a member of an International Calligraphy Envelope Exchange I wanted to design something special for my July envelope and card showing my honor and love for my beautiful country, the United States of America.
The envelope is written in a fun hand "Pointed Pen Straight Up" created by internationally known calligrapher and artist Barbara Close. It combines the feel of both italic and script in an elegant and playful manner.

God Bless our United States of America 🇺🇸

Finally back on track with my Poet John Keats envelope exchange for March☘️ getting the piece off to the Post Office before April 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I used IAMPETH's Master Penman Mike Kecseg's Variations of Uncial lettering, which was perfect for this St. Paddy's Day focused envelope and card.
The addition of a gold painted Celtic Knot is perfect for the back of the envelope.
The custom bookmark has the recipient's name written in Engrossers script which was taught to me by IAMPETH's Master Penman Bill Kemp.
I will be adding my hand made card and envelope liner to my custom stationery collection, along with the Valentine's Day card and liner I designed for that day❤️

Had fun creating a few cheese tags for a dear friend to be used at The Venice Theater's cast party celebrating the end of the wildly successful show, Calendar Girls.

While a large part of our Florida theater is still being renovated after the wrath of Hurricane Ian, the show must go on. Fortunately several small areas around the theater have been able to be used so the season can continue 🎭

The Venice Theater is one our gems in this beautiful gulf community.

We are so fortunate to have a beautiful Art Space in our Venice, Florida community. After living in Paradise for a bunch of years, I finally submitted a piece to our Venice Art Center's Annual Members Show.
The piece I entered is an Illuminated and gilded letter O.
