Join us today (March 30) for this special Lenten concert by members of the Whiting Park Festival Orchestra under the direction of Robert Vodnoy. The free concert will be presented at 4:00PM at St. John the Baptist Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN). The program includes Rossini's Sonata in G, Puccini's Chrysanthemum, three movements from Haydn's Seven Last Words of Christ, Mascagni's Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, Strauss's Voices of Spring, and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3.

What an incredibly moving evening! The crowd was brought to their feet after the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota performed our final concert of our 8th season, "Anne Frank's Tree." 🌳

Narrator Alexa Scharf perfectly complimented the orchestra as they perform the Florida Premiere of Victoria Bond's incredible work and violinist George Maxman was an absolute virtuoso as he joined us for Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. 🎶 🎻

It's concert day at last! Here's a sneak peak behind the scenes of the final rehearsal before tonights concert, "Anne Frank's Tree." 🌳

Tonights performances will include selections by Korngold, Mendelssohn, and the Florida Premiere of Victoria Bond's "Anne Frank's Tree." 🎶 🎻 🌳 We'll also welcome guest violinist George Maxman for Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and accompanying Victoria Bond's work will be an interpretation of Anne Frank's diary, performed by guest narrator Alexa Scharf and directed by Tamara Solum.

The show is at 7:30 tonight at the First Presbyterian Church, 2050 Oak Street, Sarasota.

What a wonderful performance at Selby Library as part of the Sarasota Music Archive series.

Robert Vodnoy welcomed harpist Guiseppina Ciarla and violinist Milene Moreira for delightful selections from Verdi, Puccini and more. 🎶🎻

Guiseppina is Principal Harpist with the Sarasota Opera, Venice Symphony, and the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota and Milene is currently a member of the Sarasota Orchestra and Sarasota Opera. The crowd was overjoyed.
