MAY 30 AND 31: FISHERMAN’S VILLAGE GRAND KICKOFF; TWO DAYS OF CELEBRATION IN MARINA DEL REY!

Fisherman’s Village is throwing a two-day Grand Kickoff celebration on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026, to open the new Historical Society and launch the 2026 Summer Music Series. Both days are free, family-friendly, and happen right on the waterfront at 13723 Fiji Way in Marina Del Rey.

What is the Grand Kickoff at Fisherman’s Village?

The Grand Kickoff is a two-day waterfront celebration marking two firsts for the Village this year. Saturday opens with a ribbon cutting for the brand-new Fisherman’s Village Historical Society, followed by an afternoon of waterfront DJ music. Sunday brings the official start of the 2026 Summer Music Series with live music on the harbor.

It’s a community-wide welcome to summer, and admission is free both days.

About Fly Without Limits DK3 event:
The DK3 is a legacy 3×3 wheelchair basketball tournament with a 20+ year history. The originator of the competition, Paralympic legend David Kiley himself passed the torch to Fly Without Limits Executive Director who has been leading the charge for the past 2 years and taking the DK3 to new heights with Fly Without Limits as the launchpad and an impeccable team of supporters, collaborators, volunteers, and advocates.

DK3 isn’t just any tournament. Its’s the most anticipated 3×3 wheelchair basketball event globally. Its a a community of true ballers that have a love and respect for the game, and a desire to see it get to the next level. This tournament was a platform for Hall of famers, Military veterans, Paralympians, World Champions, National Champions, International stars, and everything in between get buckets, while dismantling the common perception of athletes with disabilities.

We are unwavering in our belief that everyone deserves to pursue a life of fulfillment, regardless of their physical abilities.

We are deeply committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from achieving their goals and dreams.
