RIP AUBREY JONES, AKA BOBBY BLISS.
1976- 2026.

Aubrey Jones, known to most as Bobby Bliss, passed away last week at the age of 50 co-owner of veniceoriginals Skateboard Shop, Bobby was a big strong man, with a heart of gold and a kind soul. We here at Venice Paparazzi were fortunate to have had a friendship with Bobby for over 20 years.

Over the years, we sat with Bobby and brainstormed many ideas business ideas, including a locals discount card. He had Venice Originals sponsor photo booths. He stoked us out with VO hoodies and T’s. We had him screen print our merch for Kettlebell Boxing and Venice Paparazzi. When Edizen had cancer he came over multiple times to bring us supplements and offer support. We talked training whenever we ran into each other, be it at Gold’s Gym or on the street. Bobby was a large, fit, capable guy without the need to act hard. Bobby had a rare combination of welcoming energy, and openmind, and contained danger.

From my perspective, Bobby was a dedicated learner. He had a wide variety of interests including peptides, healthy lifestyles, and curing diseases. When we would talk he always had new, interesting information to offer and was happy to share.

It’s a damn shame that he is gone. He was a genuine light in the Venice Community and will be greatly missed. Our condolences and prayers are with his family and loved one. -Alex

To Bobby, you were a gentle giant with the kindest heart. An angel/warrior fighting the good fight. Thank you for blessing us with your gifts and kindness. I remember how welcoming you were when Venice Paparazzi first came on the scene. Thank you. We miss and love you! Keep watching over us!

⛳️👨‍👧‍👦 was on the scene at Father’s Day “Golf With Dad” at RUNWAY Playa Vista!

Families gathered on The Turf for a fun-filled afternoon featuring a 9-hole mini golf course, great music, cold drinks, and plenty of Father’s Day memories. Guests also enjoyed food and refreshments from P.V. House while celebrating dads in the heart of Playa Vista. The event welcomed all ages and brought the community together for some friendly competition and family fun.

⚽️🌎 Venice Paparazzi was on the scene at LA County Beaches & Harbors’s Match Days in the Marina, bringing our interactive Green Screen Photo Booth to this exciting FIFA World Cup-themed celebration in Marina del Rey Tourism Board!
Match Days in the Marina transformed Burton Chace Park into a vibrant soccer fan zone, bringing together the community for a free waterfront celebration featuring match viewing, soccer-themed activities, cultural experiences, live entertainment, family fun, and World Cup excitement.
Soccer fans of all ages stopped by to strike a pose, celebrate their favorite teams, and create memorable photos while sharing their love for the beautiful game.
Thank you to Los Angeles County Beaches & Harbors for hosting this incredible event and inviting Venice Paparazzi to be part of the fun.
