This is understandable since the Coop could easily be construed as a public venue…but its true nature is more illusive. In behalf of clarifying this, it can be pointed out that the Coop is more or less an extension of Chris (and Sue's) living room, and consequently is not a public venue; the Coop operates as neither a profit-center nor a business-activity. The Coop has been created as a result of

Chris' vision with the assistance of contributions from many folks including a huge amount of their sweat equity, all aimed toward making the Coop a gathering place for a community of folks to enjoy various music-related activities (as chosen by those who are evolving the Coop). Consistent with this is the fact that the Coop is not actively soliciting performances. All are welcome to join in this Coop community by way of participating in its activities and contributing to its further evolution and operation. Note: work parties are on-going, as they have been for the last many years….one can volunteer to show up and help when work needs to get done.
