🏅 𝗩𝗜𝗙𝗙𝟮𝟱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗭 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 🏅

Vashon’s own Levi Cobb—a soon-to-be 15-year-old filmmaker and founder of QuantumMedias—won the Mickey’s Chair Award for Best shortCUTZ for Pizza Purge. Written, directed, and starring Cobb, the 15-minute adventure was shot at McMurray Middle School with a cast of local students and backed by the Vashon Film Institute. Already a festival veteran with his 2024 short Pinecones, Cobb is proving the future of filmmaking is in good hands.

At VIFF25, 𝘌𝘮 & 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘢 𝘎𝘰 𝘎𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 took home the Burton Award for Excellence in Short Filmmaking and 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 claimed the Audience Award for Best Short.
