Can we get into how therapeutic art is when you just let go and surrender to flow of not over thinking or analyzing and just create without even a plan. It’s a meditative state. Also, for those of you that don’t know these are chakras.
What are chakras:
Chakras are energy centers described in ancient Indian spiritual systems (especially yoga and Ayurveda). The word chakra means “wheel” or “disk” in Sanskrit. They’re believed to be points in the body where physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies meet and flow.
In most modern systems, there are 7 main chakras, aligned along the spine from the base of the body to the top of the head.
Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Base of the spine
Themes: Safety, survival, grounding, money, home
When balanced: You feel stable and secure
When blocked: Anxiety, fear, instability
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Lower abdomen
Themes: Emotions, creativity, pleasure, sexuality
When balanced: You feel creative and emotionally open
When blocked: Guilt, emotional numbness, lack of inspiration
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Upper abdomen
Themes: Confidence, personal power, identity
When balanced: You feel confident and motivated
When blocked: Low self-esteem, control issues
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Center of the chest
Themes: Love, compassion, relationships, forgiveness
When balanced: You give and receive love easily
When blocked: Grief, resentment, emotional walls
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Throat
Themes: Communication, truth, self-expression
When balanced: You speak clearly and honestly
When blocked: Fear of speaking up, feeling unheard
6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Between the eyebrows
Themes: Intuition, insight, perception
When balanced: Strong intuition, clarity
When blocked: Confusion, lack of direction
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Top of the head
Themes: Spiritual connection, meaning, consciousness
When balanced: Sense of purpose and connection
When blocked: Feeling disconnected or lost
