One of the hidden realities of midlife is caregiving.

Many women find themselves supporting both children and aging parents at the same time.

Research from the National Alliance for Caregiving shows caregivers often experience higher stress levels and poorer sleep than those who are not caregivers.

If you’re tired, stretched thin, or feeling like everyone needs something from you, that’s not unusual.

It’s the reality of the sandwich generation.

Tag someone who has been showing up for everyone lately.

If you’ve been quietly telling yourself, “Next month I’ll do something for me,” this is your friendly reminder that next month is almost here.

In April, I’m opening up the next round of She Came To Dance nights in Vancouver, WA. They’re early‑evening, women‑only dance parties with music you actually know and a very firm “home by 10” energy. You get the wild, sweaty, laughing‑too‑hard feeling of a big night out without sacrificing the entire next day.

They’re for the women who spend their time scheduling everyone else’s appointments and would like one calendar block that’s just for them.

If that sounds like the kind of thing you want on your April calendar, comment “APRIL” or message me “APRIL” and I’ll send you the dates and details before I post them anywhere else.

Midlife can feel like a pressure cooker.

Many women in their 40s and 50s are juggling children, aging parents, work responsibilities, and financial stress all at the same time.

According to the American Psychological Association, nearly 1 in 5 adults experiences high levels of stress daily.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, you’re not alone.

This stage of life is intense.

And that’s exactly why spaces for laughter, movement, and connection matter.

Tag a friend who deserves a break from the chaos.

If March had a soundtrack, it would be hold music and notification pings.

You juggled school stuff, appointments, last‑minute errands, emotional crises, and the never‑ending question of dinner. You handled it, because of course you did. That’s who you are.

But being the one who holds everything together doesn’t mean you never get to fall apart a little on a dance floor.

She Came To Dance is an early‑evening suburban dance party for the women who carried March on their backs and would like to scream‑sing about it. You show up, move however you want, and still get to slide into bed at a reasonable hour.

If your April needs one night that’s actually about you, drop a 💃 or comment “APRIL” and I’ll send you first‑look details for the next dates in Vancouver, WA.
