The Ophidian Breeze concept album is out today! We've spent three years on this album that started with Zi bringing in ideas he had been writing for decades. After the pandemic, he came to me as a producer saying that he didn't want to die with the music inside him. It will now live on in perpetuity even after we're gone. I love what I get to do for a living. ❤️

As the Ophidian Breeze album release comes out Friday, I stumbled upon this testimonial from when we had finished the first song. 11 songs later, we have his concept album finished with the story and vision he started with. We've also made new friends on the way, and this is why I love producing others. The human connection and helping someone achieve a goal they thought time had passed by on.

And of course, Ivy chilling in the background! I had to do a second take, since the first one she was cleaning herself in a non appropriate way on camera. No shame! 😮

Seeing Stu Hamm with Satriani on the G3 tour opened up my eyes to what bass could really do. I relearn this every few years, and it's still amazing writing.
