Geek Week is upon us, and so are some fun gaming events!

Come out to Game On over the next week to play the new game from Acclaim, Inc. , Ground Zero Hero! Our tournament will span over 3 days/events. A live leaderboard will keep you updated on the top scores, as you compete for a prize pack containing games, accessories, and more!

Join us at CAMP on Tuesday for a busy night of tabletop and video games. Play some MtG, choose from the library of games, or bring your own. Tuesday is your first chance to play Ground Zero Hero on a Polycade Sente.

Thursday night is at Statera Cellars. In addition to Game On and the tournament, we will have a special event where you can learn the basics of Dungeons and Dragons and how to commit to your character’s story.

Sure, you can know the rules of the game, but it’s so much more than that. A big part of the success of a campaign or even a one shot is how much each player invests in the bigger picture of it all.

Lük Wylde, of Statera Cellars, has a background in theater and has spent their entire life as a storyteller. They are a professional Dungeon Master offering a rare free session to learn more about the game and potentially bring your character ideas to life for you to play.

All supplies will be provided, but please do come to the table with any ideas you may have for a character. Seating will be limited!

Saturday is in Downtown Vancouver at Ranch Pizza. Join us for Game On and Happy Hour specials. Ranch has already has a gaming area with Polycade machines for you to enjoy, and it’s your last chance to earn your top spot in the tournament.

Its immense size is the reason for its popularity. Wailord watching is a favorite sightseeing activity in various parts of the world.⁣

Once the largest Pokémon in the entire Pokédex, (It’s still #1 if you don’t count Legendary or Mythical) Wailord is a giant! It was only fair that I make a design from multiple records, to showcase its size. What other Pokémon deserve a multiple record design? Wailord, cut into damaged vinyl.⁣

Game On at CAMP is your new Tuesday destination!

Come by this month and play some games with your friends on August 4th, 18th for the Magic the Gathering Hobbit draft, and 25th.

The gaming library covers a range of systems, from classic and retro games, to newer single and multiplayer titles.

Vancouver Go Fest was a blast last month.

Game On was split between the Vancouver Waterfront and Ranch Pizza, and the community turnout was amazing. The Sente from Polycade was loaded with classic titles, and was a hit with all ages.

Statera has moved to third Wednesdays!

Statera Cellars new location is taking shape, and has a great sunset view of Downtown Portland. This month on the 11th, Tuesday night Game On will be moving over to Statera for one night, so tell your friends. Then be sure to come on the 20th for a night of games, and D&D.
